oKEYo is a small cocktail room in Charlotte, from the team behind Counter-. Twenty seats, a short menu, and drinks made to be sat with rather than ordered in a hurry.

We share an address with Counter- on West Morehead. Where the dining room is a fixed story told once a night, this room is the opposite: come as you are, stay as long as you like.

The drinks change when the produce does. The bites are built to go alongside them, not to stand in for dinner.

Do you take reservations?

We hold most of the room for walk-ins. With twenty seats the bar fills quickly, so if you are set on a particular time, book ahead.

How many people can you seat?

Twenty, all at the bar. Four is the largest party we can seat together — beyond that it is hard to keep a group in one conversation without taking the room over.

Do you have parking?

Yes. There is a large lot in front of and behind the building, shared with Counter-. If you plan on drinking, we would rather you booked a rideshare.

Do you serve food?

Tasting bites, built to sit alongside the drinks. It is not dinner, and it is not meant to be.

Can you accommodate allergies?

Most of them, and more of them with notice. Tell us when you sit down and we will work around it.
